Stuart Lyell

Stuart has worked in the development industry for 25 years, building everything from studio flats to business parks and from high street shops to multi-billion pound city centre mixed use redevelopments. There’s not much he doesn’t know about development, although every day brings new surprises, just when everything seemed to be under control….!!
His ‘previous’ senior management experience with Taylor Woodrow, Stanhope and Docklands Light Railway, ably qualifies him for responsibility to deliver Allied’s major development schemes, including Spinningfields in Manchester. There may not be any new railways to build right now, but setting up Manchester’s Metroshuttle city centre bus services comes close!
Stuart has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Reading University, where he met his wife Susanne. They have four very lively children who, as keen Manchester United supporters, fully approve of Dad's job and the various corporate hospitality opportunities to watch their favorite team play at home!
